20.12.2016Rumcajsovy míle 2017 - This year of traditional summer orienteering event will be held at Brada hill, close to Jicin.

The date of the event is 11.-13.8.2017 and you are welcome! Bulletin and entries will come soon (exp. February).

In 2017 you can expect 3 stages in rocky terrain, moderate hills and various runability.

Close to event centre there are many tourist attractions which we honestly recommend (Czech Paradise with Prachovske skaly nearby, Trosky ruins, Jicin old town and much more).

31.07.2016SJC catering - We have prepared the following menu to fill your stomachs:

To drink:

  • beer Svijany and non alcoholic beer Birell, Kofola lemonade at "U Hóny"
  • Coffee "Ako oči" at "U Maza"
  • at the finish will be water and iont drink Estim from "www.iontovenapoje.sk"
  • tea, coffee and soft drinks in "SJC tent"

To eat:

  • daily menu from Rumcajz:

    • Friday: potato soup, chicken fillet with potatoes
    • Saturday: Goulash soup, spaghetti bolognese with cheese, kung pao chicken with rice
    • Sunday: chicken broth with pasta, goulash with dumplings, breaded cauliflower with potatoes

  • cakes, pies, pasta salad and more in "SJC tent"
  • superior hotdog at "U Hóny"
  • grilled sausages and meat, pickled sausage and pickled camembert at Grill Bar "U Kály"

18.01.2016Rumcajsovy míle 2016 - This year of traditional summer 4 stages event will be held at the same place as should have been last year (which was cancelled because of forest fire).

The date of the event is 5.-7.8.2016 and you are welcome! Bulletin will come soon.
09.08.2015Rumcajsovy míle 2015 CANCELED! - Dear competitors,
unfortunately we have to inform you that this year of competitions "Rumcajsovy mile" IS CANCELED.

The reason for the cancellation is an extreme dryness and the associated high risk of fire. Because of this, the state authorities banned the competitions. There was a big fire in the forest only few hundred meters away some days ago.

We are very sorry and we hope that you will come next year. The courses are already prepared :)

Payments made for the camp and the entries will be returned back in full. We will send them back to the accounts from which they came from. Due to the large amount of payments it will take a while. If you do not receive the payment within about 14 days, let us know.

05.08.2015Rumcajsovy míle 2015 - cancelation of the temporary camp - Dear competitors,
due to very hot and dry weather we have to cancel the temporary camp in the centre of the competitions.

Please use other accommodation close to competitions (camps in Branžež or Příhrazy - http://www.mapy.cz/s/kj5w).

We apologize for this complication.
